2 Cited After Md. TV Tower Jump Try

CROWNSVILLE, Md (AP) -- Anne Arundel County police have cited two men after one of them was injured in a jump from the Maryland Public Television tower.

County police say Robert Morgan, 25, of Fairfax, Va., climbed the tower in Crownsville early Wednesday and was injured when he jumped and his parachute failed to fully open before he hit the ground.

Morgan's lower body was injured and he was taken to Shock Trauma in Baltimore as a precaution. He was later issued a criminal citation for trespassing on private property. Police say a witness, Sean Bullington, 34, of Draper, Utah, was taken into custody at the scene and cited for trespassing and providing a false statement to officers.
