Hagerstown Teenager Arrested In October Shooting

HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- Police in Hagerstown say a teenager accused in an October shooting has been arrested.

Dennis S. Marshall Jr., was found Friday afternoon hiding in a closet in a home in Hagerstown's West End.

Police Chief Arthur Smith tells The Herald-Mail of Hagerstown that police received a tip that Marshall was inside a house on Avalon Avenue.

Marshall, 17, had been wanted since October on an arrest warrant charging him with attempted murder, assault and reckless endangerment in the Oct. 17 shooting of Colin Wesley Williams, another Hagerstown teenager.

Williams has recovered from the shooting.
