O’Malley Nominates Kratovil To Be A Judge

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Gov. Martin O’Malley has nominated former congressman Frank Kratovil to the District Court for Queen Anne’s County.

O’Malley announced the appointment on Wednesday to fill a vacancy created by the retirement of Judge John T. Clark III.

Kratovil, a Democrat, represented Maryland’s 1st Congressional District, which includes all of the Eastern Shore, from 2009 to 2011. He was defeated in 2010 by then-state Sen. Andy Harris.

Kratovil was state’s attorney for Queen Anne’s County from 2002 until 2009.

Im actually happy about this. His time in the house was too short. Never did like Andy Harris.

He was a US Congressman, not a Maryland congressman.
