Car Accident In Silver Spring Kills 2 Young Women
SILVER SPRING, Md. (AP) -- Montgomery County police are identifying two young women who were killed in a car accident in Silver Spring.
Police say 22-year-old Jenice Richards, who had been driving the vehicle, and 19-year-old Tamara Johnson, who had been in the back seat, died at the scene. Both women are from Hyattsville.
Authorities say an 18-year-old woman in the front seat was seriously injured and taken to a hospital.
Police say the crash occurred about 3 a.m. Thursday in the 600-block of University Boulevard East, near Piney Branch Road.
