Water Main Break Closes Some Schools

BALTIMORE (WJZ) —  A water main break closed several schools Tuesday morning.

It happened in the 2300-block of Research Avenue.

Crews are trying to fix the 36-inch break, and water was shut off for a time.

Hospitals and other health facilities in the area that were reporting low pressures are reporting normal, sustainable pressures now.

Surrounding counties were notified of the main shut down. Anne Arundel County is making adjustments to their system to make up for the lost pressure.
