Glenn Younes: A Week To Celebrate
As I'm writing this Wednesday night it's nice to be able to take a big fat deep breath from the grind of a game week and just enjoy the calm. That, in itself, is reason to celebrate. Which begs a real question from me: With New Years eve, then clinching the division and now the down time, do you think there will be a spike in baby making in Baltimore?
When I mentioned it on the show tonight no one really said anything except for one guy off the air who didn't think the question was appropriate. That said I'm being serious. I have friends in this town that are spending much more time with their families and wives than they would on a normal game week. The 12-4 season has the entire city excited and in good, fun, party moods. This is not a gross question, it's a sociological one.
My overall point is that our city lives their lives via then Ravens and a 2nd seed after a sweep of the division and going undefeated at home is cause for celebration... Don't you think?
