Marbury Man Charged With Kicking Roommate To Death
MARBURY, Md. (AP) -- The Charles County Sheriff's Office says a Marbury man has been charged with kicking his roommate to death.
Deputies say about 8 a.m. Saturday, George Tanner Jr. was drinking with his roommate, Luther Huffman, when an argument led to a fight.
Police say Tanner, 42, pushed Huffman, 49, to the floor and repeatedly kicked him, left him there and went to sleep. Deputies say when Tanner woke up, he saw that Huffman was dead and called the sheriff's office.
Deputies say an autopsy showed that Huffman died of blunt force trauma.
Tanner is charged with second-degree murder.
