I’ve been amazed at the backlash regarding Ed Reed’s missed tackle.

Yes, he whiffed on a tackle on Scott that ended up being a TD, Yes, he seems reluctant to tackle. But you know what, it’s been that way for a while, and the Ravens have survived. He is Ed Reed, and he deserves a pass. This doesn’t mean it’s time to retire. People need to cut the guy some slack. He’s one of the great safeties of all-time, and he’s allowed a mistake.

Hopefully, it’s a little wake up call for him just in time for the playoffs.

Maybe the Ravens should “Back Off” on his salary?
Reed and Lewis are getting OLD!!

You can tell the Way Ray Runs.
    Lewis and Rice..LOL

Funny you say that…who is the leading tackler on the Ravens still after 16 years on the job? Yes, that would be Ray Lewis. After 16 years, he is still averaging 10 tackles per game. Ed Reed is still on every play, every game. His numbers don’t show that because of the huge talent we have on the defense now, but that doesn’t mean he’s not out there doing his thing. These guys have both set the standard of their positions around the NFL and have earned their spots.
