A new week of playoff games is upon us and the Ravens are set to host the Houston Texan yet again. Baltimore’s advancement might have seemed like the easiest (due to the bye) but when you look back at what it took to earn that bye you’ll see that hard work and pain went into it.

The past week of leisure and much needed relaxation is now over. It’s time for the Texans to come to town, this time equipped with a major weapon they lacked prior, in Andre Johnson. And while he’s a big added addition, their triggerman in Matt Schaub is on the shelf. So while some say Houston has Johnson back, do you really think TJ Yates is prepared for the physiological warfare that Ravens’ DC Chuck Pagano, MLB Ray Lewis & Safety Ed Reed are going to wage on the rookie signal caller?

Like the 29-14 week 6 victory over the Texans at M&T, Baltimore is coming off a bye meaning more prep time. We all know rest and prep time coupled with home field advantage screams Ravens win, Ravens win and does it loudly. That’s the way I see it early and I’m very much looking forward to this week of shows as we get closer and closer to game day.
