Taking Care Of Your Fridge Could Save You Money

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — This energy saver focuses on the fridge.

Mary Bubala reports experts say the temperature should be set between 37 and 40 degrees.

Cover liquids and wrap foods. Uncovered food releases moisture and makes the compressor work harder.

And if your fridge is old, think about upgrading to a new Energy Star refrigerator since they use 20 percent less energy.
