ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Frederick Republican Delegate Kathy Afzali is jumping into the growing GOP primary to run for the 6th Congressional District in western Maryland.

Afzali, who is serving her first term in the Maryland House of Delegates, made the announcement on Tuesday.
