Man In Viral Video Of Baltimore Police Officer's Attack Arrested
BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- The video went viral and was watched around the world. Now, another arrest in a surprising attack on a Baltimore police officer.
The man who started the entire incident is back in custody Thursday night.
Police were handcuffing Shershahallan Bond-Brooks, 40, for disorderly conduct when another man jumped the officers allowing Bond-Brooks to escape.
The man who attacked the officers, Manuel Imel, was arrested at the scene and faces a number of charges.
Bond-Brooks is now charged with escape, assault and disorderly conduct.
He is being held at Central Booking. Police say the two men appear to know each other.
