Md. Man Sentenced To 5 Years For Child Pornography

BALTIMORE (AP) — Federal prosecutors say a former National Guardsman has been sentenced to five years in prison for possessing child pornography.

Thirty-year-old Bret Desmarteau, formerly of Odenton, was also ordered to register as a sex offender at sentencing Friday.

According to his plea agreement, undercover FBI agents asked for access to profiles belonging to Desmarteau on a site that shares child pornography.

A search warrant executed on Desmarteau’s home turned up child pornography on his computers.
