Baltimore Teenager Lands Recurring Role On CBS Hit Series 'The Good Wife'

BALTIMORE (WJZ)—At only 16 years old, a local Baltimore student is practically becoming a regular on the hit CBS series "The Good Wife." Her latest episode aired Sunday night.

But Andrea Fujii explains that won't be the last time we see her.

After four episodes on "The Good Wife," Baltimore's Rachel Hilson still gets starstruck.

"It's intimidating, but it's an honor [to be] in the same room, in the same cast," Hilson said.

The 16-year-old plays Nisa, the girlfriend of Julianna Marguiles' character's son.

Her first appearance was in November 2010, and her role has developed.

"They could have written me out, so I'm glad they brought me back," Hilson said.

A junior at the Baltimore School for the Arts, Hilson was discovered by an agent after a dance performance at age 12. And she's been acting ever since.

Now she's getting recognized but is humble about how far she can go.

"I like to share it with my friends from school because they're just as capable as me to do things like this," Hilson said.

And her school has cranked out several big stars, including fellow "Good Wife" actor Josh Charles.

"I'm really proud to be from Baltimore and on working on TV," she said.

Hilson is also starring in an independent film called "Cass," which comes out in May. She expects to be in at least one more episode this season. You can catch "The Good Wife" on Sunday nights on WJZ.
