Driver Killed When Car Slides On Ice, Hits Pole
WESTMINSTER, Md. (AP) -- Maryland State Police say a man was killed when the car he was driving slid on ice and hit a utility pole.
It happened about 10:45 p.m. Monday on Hughes Shop Road in Westminster. Troopers say a car driven by Barry Golomb of Westminster drove over ice, slid of the road and hit a utility pole.
Golomb died at Carroll Hospital Center. The crash is under investigation.
