Ravens Fans Pay Tribute To Ray Lewis With New 'Raylentless' T-Shirt

BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- With five days until the AFC Championship, Ravens fans are stocking up on team gear. But a new T-shirt puts focus on just one player-- Ray Lewis.

Andrea Fujii tells us they're already on store shelves.

Sixteen-season Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis is a legend. Now he has a T-shirt dedicated to him, celebrating his "Raylentless" physicality.

"The only reason you play this game is to get the opportunity to go to a Super Bowl and we have that opportunity now," Lewis said.

And fans couldn't agree more.

"Ray Lewis-- mean, tough, represents Baltimore great," said one person.

The adoration for Lewis is why the shirt's creator said Maryland needs one.

"I wanted to do a T-shirt of a warrior king, which is pretty much the way I see Ray Lewis," said Fred Fillah, president of "Fans Only."

"I love him. I truly, truly, I think he's great," said another person.

And the Ravens' success is helping local businesses' bottom line.

Roberto Cortez is one of 20 sports store owners picking up the new shirts.

"Very busy," Cortez said. "These past couple weeks we just been coming in here, picking up more shirts, trying to fill up the racks."

One machine prints 500 shirts an hour, and they'll keep printing until the Super Bowl.

With hundreds of shirts already on store shelves at $20 a pop, fans and entrepreneurs hope they go all the way.

"He going to knock the mess out of somebody. We're going to the Super Bowl. Ravens No. 1!" said one fan.

The T-shirt company hasn't heard directly from Ray Lewis but the NFL Players Association has approved the shirt.
