Vinny Cerrato: Vinny's Filthy Four Ranking

Former NFL GM & current 105.7 The Fan host Vinny Cerrato ranks the last four remaining playoff teams into his "Filthy Four ."

VINNY'S FILTHY FOUR

1- New York Giants- Momentum can not be understated in the playoffs. They dominated their first two games, with the defense posting 6 sacks and Eli throwing for 6 touchdowns with only 1 interception. Their offense is clicking in both the running game ( Jacobs and Bradshaw- 240 yards rushing) and the passing game ( Hakeem Nicks- 13 receptions 280 yards and 4 touchdowns). The Giants are the hottest team in the NFL Playoffs.

2- New England Patriots- Tom Brady threw 6 touchdown passes. I will write that again…..Tom Brady threw 6 touchdown passes and the Patriots dominated every phase of the football game. Turnovers are as key for the patriots to prevent as they are for the Ravens to force. The turnover column in the box score will tell the story for the AFC Championship game.

3- San Francisco 49ers- Alex Smith was able to step up his game to a level he had never been at before. The 49ers defense was able to continue flipping the field, getting 5 turnovers against the saints. The big question to answer is can the 49ers beat the Giants twice in the same season? The Packers couldn't accomplish that.

4- Baltimore Ravens- The offensive line has got to play better than they did against the Texans. Ray Rice is the Key to offensive success for this team. Ravens can not turn the ball over, AT ALL, this game. Pressure defensively is the way to defeat the patriots.
