Baltimore Co. Priest Charged With Indecent Exposure

TOWSON, Md. (AP) -- A Catholic priest has been removed from duty at a Baltimore County church after being arrested on indecent exposure charges at an adult book store.

The Baltimore Sun reports that Harford County sheriff's deputies investigating complaints of indecent exposure at Bush River Books & Movies in Abingdon on Jan. 16, found Mark Stewart Bullock, 47, nude from the waist down in a shop movie theater where customers could see him.

Bullock was charged with indecent exposure, a misdemeanor that carries a maximum fine of $1,000 and three years in prison.

In a letter to parishioners at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Towson, Rev. Joseph Barr wrote that the Baltimore Archdiocese removed Bullock's "faculties to function as a priest" and is investigating the incident.
