Police Need Help Finding Hit-and-Run Driver Who Killed 68-Year-Old Woman

PARKVILLE, Md. (WJZ)—Police are asking for the public's help in finding the driver who struck and killed a 68-year-old woman.

At 7 p.m Sunday, Beverly Moore was crossing Seven Courts Drive near the intersection of Lincolnshire Court in Parkville. A Ford 500 was traveling the inner southbound lane along Seven Courts Drive behind another vehicle that stopped to allow the woman to cross. The driver of the Ford passed the vehicle on the inner lane, proceeded into the outer lane and hit Moore.

Witnesses say the driver failed to stop after striking the victim and turned onto westbound Joppa Road.

The light colored, four-door 2005-2007 Ford 500 sedan may have damage to the right front bumper, headlight, hood and possibly the right front panel.

If anyone has seen this vehicle or has any information regarding the hit-and-run, please contact the Baltimore County Police Department at 410-307-2020.
