BLOG: New Storm Is On The Way

WE HAVE A DATE FOR OUR 5TH ANNUAL WEATHER FIELD TRIP DAY AT CAMDEN YARDS . . .
This year it falls on a Wednesday at the end of May, during a Red Sox game.  Teachers, get your schools signed up.  Parents and students, tell your teachers all about it.  It's a really fun day for all involved! Click here for more info.

Back to our local weather . . .

After a couple of nice days, a new storm is on the way.  Clouds will take over Wednesday night, then the rain will arrive.  Since there is the chance that some of it will get here around dawn when temperatures are hovering around that freezing mark, it may briefly start as an icy mix.  But this is really going to be a rain event that will get underway Thursday and continue into Friday.  Temperatures will rise into the 40s Thursday afternoon, not drop below 40 Thursday night, then spike into the 50s Friday afternoon when the rain gets out of here.

There is some uncertainty to this weekend's forecast.  A weak storm will pass through Saturday night and Sunday.  This storm keeps looking weaker and weaker, bringing mainly just some clouds through, but it's something that we will watch and update you on the rest of the week.  Temperatures will get knocked down into the 40s again Sunday and Monday.
