BLOG: Warm Temps Give Way To Cold Weather By Monday

Happy Saturday everyone! And what a Saturday it was weather-wise!

Can you believe this is really the end of January? We topped out at 53 degrees Saturday afternoon and are going right back up to near 50 again Sunday, despite a cold front moving through overnight. A second front will pass through Maryland Sunday night. The next front is also a pretty weak one. There will be some clouds and maybe a spotty shower or two (a snow shower out west), but that's about it.

Temperatures will take a hit Monday behind the front. However, we will still be above the average of 42 degrees. We are looking for a high of 44 degrees. Another round of clouds will swing through Monday, this time it's with a warm front. The warm front will clear us by Tuesday, bringing another unseasonably warm air mass our way for the beginning of February. Highs will jump up to near 60 on Tuesday and the low 60s on Wednesday.

There could be some showers with another cold front on Wednesday. Again, this front will knock down temperatures Thursday, although again, they will still be above average. There is a chance that colder air moves our way for next weekend. We will monitor that and keep you updated as we move through the week.
