Nearly 10,000 Expected At Polar Plunge In Md.

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Almost 10,000 people are expected to plunge into the Chesapeake Bay for charity.

Saturday is the 16th annual Polar Bear Plunge at Sandy Point State Park in Maryland. The plunge benefits Special Olympics Maryland.

Last year's plunge raised nearly $3 million.
