HALFWAY, Md. (AP) -- Hospital officials say a pregnant woman injured in a car crash in Halfway has died.

Beth Ann Faulder, 26, of Hagerstown died Tuesday at Shock Trauma in Baltimore. The Washington County Sheriff's Office says she was 22 weeks pregnant.

Deputies tell The Herald-Mail of Hagerstown that on Saturday, Faulder pulled from Oak Ridge Drive onto Halfway Boulevard into the path of a vehicle driven by Dixie Lee Pierce, 32, of Hagerstown. Faulder's car was hit on the driver's side.

Faulder and Pierce were taken to a local hospital, where Pierce was treated and released. Faulder was flown to Shock Trauma.
