Metro To Close 2 Stations For Weekend Track Work
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Two stations on Metro's orange and blue lines will be closed for weekend track work.
Metro says it will close its Rosslyn and Arlington Cemetery stations beginning Friday at 10 p.m. and continuing through the weekend. Shuttle buses will take passengers through the area. Metro says customers traveling through the area should expect to add 20 to 30 minutes to their travel time.
Metro will also be doing track work on the red line. As a result, red line trains will single track between Van Ness and Friendship Heights. Metro says passengers traveling through the area should allow 10 to 15 minutes of additional travel time.
