Suspect Sought In Vehicle Theft, ATM Break-In

FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- Frederick city police say they're looking for the person who stole a vehicle from a repair shop and then rammed it into an automated teller machine in an apparent attempt to steal the cash inside.

Police say the incident occurred early Tuesday morning on Rosemont Avenue in the city's north end.

Authorities say the vehicle was stolen from the Rosemont Service Center. They say the driver then ran it into an ATM kiosk at a BB&T Bank branch a block away.

They say the vehicle was found on Baughman's Lane, a short distance away.
