James Madison Beats Towson 65-59

HARRISONBURG, Va. (AP) -- Andrey Semenov scored 12 points, grabbed nine rebounds and dished out five assists to help James Madison get back in the win column with a 65-59 victory over Towson on Saturday.

Enoch Hood added 11 points for the Dukes (12-19, 5-13 Colonial Athletic Association), who snapped a three-game losing streak, winning for the first time since a 58-56 victory over Towson on Feb. 11.

The Dukes trailed 47-40 with 11:25 remaining before scoring 11 straight. Hood's dunk with 7:19 remaining put James Madison up for good.

Towson (1-30, 1-17) pulled within one, 51-50, on Enrique Gumbs' free throw with 5:58 but James Madison pulled away, scoring the next five points.

James Madison scored 15 points off 12 turnovers, while giving it away just eight times.

Kris Walden paced the Tigers with 23 points and Marcus Damas added 17. Robert Nwankwo had 12 rebounds for Towson, which lost its eighth straight.
