Harford Co. Sheriff's Office Offers Cash Reward For Information On Wegmans Theft

ABINGDON, Md. (WJZ)-- The Harford County Sheriff's Office is now offering a $2,000 cash reward for information regarding a theft at a Wegmans store in Abingdon.

The incident took place on Feb. 3 between 11 a.m. and noon at 21 Wegmans Blvd when a customer reported her wallet was stolen while shopping at the store.

Police say the suspect stole the victim's wallet containing several credit cards when she left her purse unattended. The suspect then drove to the Target in Constant Friendship and attempted to buy $2,000 in gift cards.

The suspect was a passenger in a silver, four door Mercedes with a sunroof and aftermarket tires. The suspect may not be the owner of the vehicle.
