TIMONIUM, Md. (WJZ) — A water main break has closed a road in Baltimore County.

It happened Friday morning on Seminary Avenue and Oakhampton Drive.  There is a total closure on E. Seminary Ave. between Charmuth Rd. and Dulaney Valley Rd.  Detours are posted.

Officials say a 12-inch water main broke.  The cause of the break is unknown.

There are 15 houses out of water, plus a gated community along Oakhampton Drive.

Crews are working to make repairs, but the work is expected to go past the evening rush hour.
