Baltimore Co. Police Search For Driver In Hit-And-Run Accident

BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) -- Baltimore County police are looking for the driver in a hit-and-run accident that injured a 14-year-old boy.

Police say on March 9 at around 5:40 p.m., they received a call of a hit-and-run accident involving a pedestrian. They say Gabriel Hudgins, 14, was crossing the intersection of Walford Drive and Charlesmont Road when a gray or dark silver Chevrolet Silverado/1500 truck accelerated and veered toward the victim, striking him in the arm. Police say the vehicle briefly stopped on Walford Drive but then fled toward North Point Road.

The suspect is described as an older white male with a heavy build and short gray hair. The gray or dark silver Chevrolet King Cab Silverado/1500 truck is a newer model with a sound-modified exhaust. It may have damage to its passenger side mirror.

Hudgins was taken to Franklin Square Hospital, where he was treated and released.
