Busch, Ruppersberger Attend Cybersecurity Event

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Maryland House of Delegates Speaker Michael Busch and Congressman C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger are scheduled to appear at a cybersecurity reception.

The pair will be the special guests of the Maryland Commission on Cyber Security Innovation and Excellence at a Tuesday reception.

The commission reviews state and federal security laws and looks for ways to attract private companies to the state.

Created in 2011, the group is also charged with creating strategic plans should Maryland suffer an electronic attack.

The commission will hold a regular meeting following the reception.
