The incident happened just after 6:30 p.m. Friday on Bel Air Road South Parkway.
The 25-year-old man sustained serious head injuries after being struck. He remains in critical condition and his injuries are life-threatening.
The Harford County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the cause.
