7 Injured After Car Hits Special Needs Bus

ARNOLD, Md. (WJZ) -- Seven people were hospitalized after a car collided with a bus that was carrying five special needs passengers.

Police say the accident happened on College Parkway near Peninsula Farm Road around 8:30 a.m. Sunday.

All of the injured were taken to area hospitals with minor injuries.

The bus was occupied by five special needs passengers. All five and the driver were taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center. The driver of the car was taken to Baltimore-Washington Medical Center.

Police are investigating the accident.
