Inmate Of Md. Detention Center Dies After Suicide
WESTMINSTER, Md. (AP) -- An inmate at a Maryland detention center is dead after an apparent suicide.
The Carroll County sheriff's office on Saturday announced the death of Gregory Green, an inmate at the county detention center.
Green, of New Windsor, was taken Saturday morning to the University of Maryland Medical Center for what officials describe as self-inflicted injuries. He was pronounced dead and his body was taken to the medical examiner's office for an autopsy.
