Man Charged With Kidnapping Ex-Girlfriend

WILLIAMSPORT, Md. (AP) — The Washington County Sheriff’s Office says a man has been charged with kidnapping and assaulting his ex-girlfriend.

The Herald-Mail of Hagerstown  reports that deputies charged Jeremy Keadle, 30, with kidnapping, assault and numerous other offenses. He is being held on $350,000 bond.

Authorities say about 10:45 p.m. Sunday, an employee of the Improved Order of Red Men club in Williamsport was forced into her car. Deputies found the vehicle stopped and saw the woman being assaulted on the road.

She was treated and released at a local hospital.
