Police Investigate Fatal Shooting In Landover
LANDOVER, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old in Landover.
Police say Brandon Lee Wiggins was shot Saturday in the 1600-block of Brightseat Road. Police say a preliminary investigation revealed that Wiggins was involved in a gun battle with another person during what was believed to be a robbery attempt.
Detectives are investigating the possibility that the attempted robbery was drug related.
