Teenage Driver In Fiery Montgomery Co. Crash Dies

CHEVY CHASE, Md. (AP) -- Authorities say the teenage driver involved in a deadly crash in Chevy Chase earlier this month has succumbed to his injuries.

Police say Reynard Osman, 16, of Washington died at a hospital on March 28. Two other teenagers were killed and another passenger was injured in the early morning crash on March 23.

Authorities say the four victims were traveling through Montgomery County in a car that a patrol officer found had been
reported stolen. Police say officers tried to stop the car, but the driver sped away. Authorities say the car traveled south on Connecticut Avenue before crashing into a tree at Chevy Chase circle and bursting into flames.

Officials rescued Osman and a front-seat passenger. Two teenagers in the back seat died at the scene.
