I-895N At Ritchie Spur Reopened After 6-Vehicle Crash
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. (WJZ)-- A multi-vehicle accident brought traffic to a standstill during Thursday night's rush hour.
I-895 northbound near the Harbor Tunnel has been reopened after being closed for more than two hours.
A 43-year-old man and 18-year-old woman were transported to Shock Trauma with serious but non-life threatening injuries after the six-vehicle crash. Two others were taken to Harbor Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Maryland Transportation Authority police closed the highway at the Ritchie Spur and diverted traffic to I-695. The accident happened shortly before 6 p.m. on Thursday.
