Frederick Man Charged With $20,000 Copper Theft

FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- A Frederick man has been charged with stealing more than $20,000 in copper from a construction company last week.

The Frederick News-Post reports Joshua Michael Propst, 28, was arrested Monday. Documents filed in Frederick County District Court charge him in connection with a break-in at Comus Construction in Woodsboro on April 2.

Authorities used surveillance video and pawn database records to tie Propst to the thefts. He was released from the Frederick County Adult Detention Center after posting $3,000 bail.
