Quick Hits: O's Road Trip, Capitals, & Dwayne Wade

The Orioles have the day off Thursday and will start their first road trip of 2012 in Toronto Friday. Free agent Johnny Damon has found a home and it's the Cleveland Indians. Last year for the Rays, Damon hit .261 with 16 home runs, however sources say that the deal isn't actually done yet as they are working out the finances.

NHL: Four of the conference quarterfinals series will play game 1, including the Capitals who are at the Garden to face the defending champion Stanley Cup Boston Bruins. The top-seeded Rangers host the Ottawa Senators. Out west the Blues host the Sharks and the Coyotes face the Blackhawks in Phoenix.

NFL: The Atlanta Falcons have been offered to appear on the HBO series "Hard Knocks" this upcoming season. Jets owner Woody Johnson, whose team was featured in 2010, was willing to do the series a second time.

There's news out of South Beach again. This time it's Dwayne Wade's comments about being paid to play for team USA in the Olympics in London this coming summer. Wade has now backed off his comments releasing a statement saying that he does not want to be paid to go to the Olympics. The gold medal game this summer is scheduled for Aug. 12 .

Only five games in the NBA Thursday night include Dwayne Wade's Miami Heat who face the Bulls in Chicago as the two top teams in the East meet. The Spurs will try and rebound from just their fifth home loss this season as they host the Grizzlies, and the Clippers are in Minnesota to face the Timberwolves.
