Suspect Arrested Half An Hour After Robbery At Forest Hill Bank

FOREST HILL, Md. (WJZ)-- Deputies from the Harford County Sheriff's Office arrested a suspect involved in a bank robbery.

The robbery took place at the PNC Bank on Rock Spring Road at about 4:45 p.m. The suspect demanded cash and fled the scene in a car.

The Baltimore County Aviation Unit that was in the air at the time the incident was reported assisted the Harford County Sheriff's Office and the Maryland State Police in tracking the suspect.

David William Hayes, 28, was taken into custody at the Fallston Wal-Mart on Bel Air Road less than half an hour after the robbery.  He is charged with robbery and theft and is being held on 1,000,000 bail.
