Md. Trucker In Thruway Crash Dies From Injuries

NEW WINDSOR, N.Y. (AP) -- Police say a 54-year-old Maryland truck driver who crashed into a disabled vehicle on the Thruway has died from his injuries.

State police said Kenneth Webb of Westminster, Md., was heading north on the Thruway in the Hudson Valley on Monday morning when his truck hit the rear of another truck disabled with a flat tire on the shoulder.

Webb was pulled from his cab and taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, where he later died.

The driver of the disabled truck was not injured.
