BALTIMORE (AP) — The Maryland Army National Guard welcomed home members after a deployment to Iraq.

The Guard’s 29th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment is hosting a Freedom Salute ceremony on Sunday afternoon in Baltimore to welcome home 17 members. The ceremony is being held at the 5th Regiment Armory.

The unit provided continuous broadcast and print journalism assets throughout Balad and the United States Division-Center area of operations during Operation New Dawn 2011.
