3-Alarm Blaze Damages Apartments In Glen Burnie

GLEN BURNIE, Md. (AP) -- Anne Arundel County fire officials say a three-alarm fire has heavily damaged apartments at a complex in Glen Burnie.

Lt. Keith Hamilton says firefighters responded to the Villages at Marly Station about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday and found heavy smoke and fire showing from the three-story complex. All residents were able to leave the building and no injuries were reported.

More than 60 firefighters responded to the scene and brought the fire under control in about a half hour.

Hamilton says at least six apartments were damaged in the blaze.
