Phase 1 Of Ocean City Boardwalk Work Almost Done
OCEAN CITY, Md. (AP) -- Crews are finishing the first phase of the Ocean City boardwalk reconstruction project.
The Daily Times of Salisbury reports the boardwalk is expected to be ready in time for the town's inaugural Susan G. Komen race Sunday.
Ocean City Engineer Terry McGean says the phase one areas between the inlet and Somerset Street and 15th through 27th streets are nearly complete. McGean says the project is two weeks ahead of schedule.
