ESSEX, Md. (WJZ)– Baltimore County police say one person was shot at a barbershop in the 600-block of South Marlyn Avenue in Essex and was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police said the 39-year-old employee was shot during a confrontation by two men.
The suspects remain on the run. Police are investigating the motive for the shooting and are interviewing witnesses.
Nearby schools were briefly locked down after the shooting.
The victim is expected to survive.
