Police Identify Suspect In Baltimore County Office Building Burglaries

TOWSON, Md. (WJZ)-- Police have now identified the suspect associated with the burglaries of several office buildings in Baltimore County.

They are looking for Billy Evans, 48, who is known to frequent the North Avenue/McKean area.

Officers said three businesses on the 400-block of Frederick Road were burglarized on April 3 between 12:05 a.m. and 12:40 a.m. They said a man broke the front window of two businesses and took electronic equipment, money and postage stamps. They also found an open door at another business from where the suspect took money.

Detectives said five office buildings have been burglarized since Dec. 6, with the suspect stealing money, checks and computer equipment from several suites of a building. Additionally, four similar burglaries took place in December in the 100-block of Painters Mill Road, the unit block of Painters Mill Road and the 10000-block of Reisterstown Road.

Anyone with information on the suspect's whereabouts is asked to call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7-LOCKUP.
