Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown To Speak At Minority Business Conference

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) -- Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown will highlight Maryland efforts to support minority owned businesses at a conference.

Brown will speak at the 2012 Minority Business Enterprise Procurement and Business Development Conference Thursday morning.

Conference attendees will focus on strategies for building programs to encourage minority business development and
strengthening the minority workforce through job creation.

The Center for Minority Business Development was created in 2009 by Prince George's Community College.
