Jerry Coleman: Draft Recap

The 2012 NFL Draft has ended and the AFC North division has gotten stronger. Each team added a key component to their franchise.

Starting with the Browns selecting running back Trent Richardson and Oklahoma State quarterback Brandon Weeden. The Steelers took OL David Decastro & Mike Adams, then the Bengals drafted Alabama cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick and Wisconsin guard Kevin Zeitler.

The Ravens, who won the division, traded their first round draft pick but they did pick up the pace in the later rounds of the draft and were pleased with the selections that they made. General Manager Ozzie Newsome did comment about each individual player they took in the latter rounds, and he also said how each of them will help the team. He believes that all of their draft picks in the late rounds can make the 53 man roster.
