Body Of N.Y. Man Recovered From Bay In Ocean City
OCEAN CITY, Md. (AP) -- Authorities say the body of a missing 22-year-old New York man has been found in the bay in Ocean City.
The Coast Guard recovered the body of Lance Corey Gaines from the area of 32nd Street on the Isle of Wight Bay on Tuesday.
Ocean City police say Gaines was visiting Ocean City with his family from Groton, N.Y. He was last seen on April 21 about 1 a.m. at The Sandbar on 33rd Street and Coastal Highway.
His body has been sent to the chief medical examiner's office for an autopsy.
The cause and manner of death are under investigation.
