Occupy Group Plan G-8 Summit Events In Md.

FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- The Occupy Frederick group says it plans a number of events in Frederick later next month linked to the meeting at nearby Camp David of leaders of the Group of Eight leading industrialized nations.

The Frederick News-Post reports that demonstrators will hold a "people's summit" at the downtown C. Burr Artz Public Library on May 18, the first day of the meeting at Camp David.

On May 19, the day the Camp David summit concludes, the group will hold a march in downtown Frederick and a rally at Baker Park.

Frederick is about 18 miles south of Camp David.
